The main mission of the Areej Foundation for Sustainable Development is to promote social justice, decent work and the sustainable development plan in Iraq and implement innovative programs guided by the following pillars:
Mission and objectives
- Paying attention to education and ensuring equal opportunities in education by eliminating gender disparity, providing a better level of education for people with special needs, and providing appropriate educational means for them.
- Paying attention to women and their participation in building society and providing equal opportunities for leadership on an equal footing with men at all levels.
- Paying attention to youth groups for the sake of modern science for the purpose of building an educated generation capable of creativity.
- Promoting society through intellectual development in order to reduce the spread of poverty and combat it.
- Paying attention to hospitals, taking care of patients’ families, and working to hold educational programs for health awareness in cooperation with governmental organizations interested in this regard.
